Due to the availability or “non-availability” of parts as the case may be, I have no control over how long it will take to get your vintage metric bike running. Metric dealerships do not necessarily want you to restore metric bikes, instead they want you to buy a NEW one.
If I order parts from dealerships, and they are available they usually take up to two weeks for parts to come in.
If I order them off the internet, the parts are shipped when they are “available”. I have no control over that.
If I order the parts from Parts Unlimited, if they are available in the after-market, it will take anywhere from 3 business days to one week.
Please be patient, there is no way I can know what is fully wrong with your bike and what parts will need to be ordered until I actually take the bike apart and look at it. If I come across some “other” problem along the way, and have to order more parts, it will be more time.
I have no control over this and I cannot lean my head against you bike and through osmosis determine every single part that will need to be ordered for your bike.
I know you want to ride your bike that you just bought for a great price or you finally pulled out of the garage, but older bikes take time. Please consider having your bike worked on in the winter that way it will be ready to ride when you are.
